I've seen him kinda shy away from tackling RBs in some games, but today I didn't see that. I just don't think he'll change his ways. He wasn't brought here to stop the run and has never been a force against the run. Thats definitely where I miss Darrent. I just think theres so many other keys on the front seven that need to be addressed before we start getting after our CBs to tackle RBs. That is not a priority in my book. |
Dude get some Visine and clean those eyes out. I saw him on at least 4 occasions where he was trying to bring someone down by the shoulder pads who was coming full speed at him. For every 3 ten yard plays he gives up, not just talking about todays game, he makes one great play. Yeah there are problems witht he front seven for sure but corners have to be able to tackle. Darrent for his size brought physicality, something Bly has none of.
