Oh by the way.... perhaps it's just sentiment, but -

(NOV 5th)

Shortly after breaking the bank to sign Dany Heatley, the Ottawa Senators last week signed Jason Spezza to a seven-year, $49 million contract. With a cap hit of $7 million, then, don’t look for the Senators to be high on the list of Peter Forsberg suitors. If and when the Forsberg bidding begins in a couple of weeks, look for the Flyers, Avalanche and Red Wings to at least initially be the three most serious teams involved

And that was after this article on Canadian sports net - -

If Peter Forsberg decides to play again in the NHL, it will only be for a Stanley Cup contender. Which means the Ottawa Senators might be in line for another Swedish scorer.

A pair of NHL sources told the Toronto Sun that Ottawa and Colorado Avalanche are the only two teams on Forsberg's list. A decision from the star is expected by the middle of November.

Forsberg has a history in Colorado, winning Cups as a member of the Avalanche in both 1995/96 and 2000/01.
