1 reason - testicular cancer - which then spread to his lungs. If anyone is justified a boost in testosterone, its one who suffered this disease. Steroids or not, to come back from something like that and compete the way he did is nothing short of remarkable.

(admittedly I could care less about cycling like the average American sports fan...but not sure if that alters my opinion of letting Armstrong slide a bit when it comes to steroid allegations)
This makes no sense. No one would argue giving him steriods to help battle cancer, but whats that have to do with 6 tour de france victories? I assume everyone in cycling was doping, its so rampant there
