Get up about 90 minutes before the early games kickoff. Make sure all 5 of my fantasy league lineups are set. Head out to the bar a half hour before kickoff so I can get there on time. I'll be late if I have to wait for a game time decision on one of my fantasy players. But my buddies always have a booth saved, so it's no big deal.
The bar we go to is awesome. It has 8 big screens lined up side by side by side across an entire wall. That way, you can see every single game on at the same time and not even have to squint to see it, or have it at a bad angle. Sometimes I play QB1 (where you have a game board in front of you, and you predict the plays before they happen...competition is nationwide). But usually I'm too interested in the games so I can watch all my fantasy players.
I rarely drink alcohol during the games, which is weird considering how much I drink the other 6 days a week. But if I drank for the 7 hours I sit at the bar, my tab would be way too expensive to keep up with. So I just get a soda, a meal for the early games (cheese ravioli or hot wings), a meal for the late game (hot wings or bacon cheeseburger), and then I'm done. The bill is around $17, and with tip, I'm out of there for just under $30. Not too bad I'd say.
After the afternoon games are over, I go home and watch the Sunday night game at home. Sunday rocks.
