I am not of this frame of mind as the writers of the show have always maintained since season one that there is a perfectly logical explanation to everything that takes place. I just think that would be a HUGE letdown to finish the entire show with.

I was wondering the same thing. But, part of me feels that Jack is clueless. He may have a little bit of information, but I really believe that Julliette is pulling the wool over his eyes as well. b****! Ok, so maybe I just want Jack to be innocent in the whole thing.

I was wondering about that myself. It may be that they still feel that if they move away from the beach they would be rescued? That one is a little odd.
