The storylines have finally taken off the last few weeks. I'll give them a mulligan on the later episodes last season, because they had to kill off a couple female cast members unexpectedly. Real life intruded, I get it.
But they finished last season pretty strong: disruption of the magnetic field under the hatch, Desmond's computer printouts showing he had caused the airliner to crash, and Penelope's crazy Russian Arctic dwellers picking up on the magnetic disruption. And now finally - with 'The Others' hiking off to parts unknown and Jack and Juliette coming back to the beach - we're back on track.
QUESTIONS:
Is anybody on board with the "Sixth Sense" plot line? Do we see dead people? It can't be 'hell' in the traditional sense, but is the Island some kind of purgatory?
Is there a chance Juliette's secret spy mission is known to Jack? We've seen her hiding it from the rest of them, but has she hidden it from Jack? After all, last week's sneak previews were deliciously ominous: Jack and Juliete ask each other, "should we tell them?" "No, not yet."
Why don't the survivors MOVE THEIR CAMP to the buildings/houses abandoned by 'The Others'? After all, everybody thinks they're gone for good - and yet the survivors aparently prefer palm-frond tents?! C'mon ... I realize we suspend our instintive reactions to watch LOST (nobody ever asks 'why are you being so mean to us?'), but those are very nice houses and buildings sitting empty across the bay ... even a child would suggest moving in.
