also, for the umpteenth time, pits ARE naturally agressive towards other dogs but NOT towards humans.
as for you slug, again, youre throwing out stats but failing to look at WHY those stats came about.
further, i would doubt the validity, since every other study ive ever read (including one posted here by alec a few months back) shows labs as being the #1 offender as far as dog bites that cause injury (38% was the last number i saw), but you wont hear anyone calling for labs to be outlawed.

labs are the #1 registered dog in the US and have been for about 8 years now, of course they are gonna be the #1 offender as there are more of them.How many of those attacks caused serious injury or death though?Now look at how many pit bull attacks caused serious injury or death. There you will see that pits are dangerous animals when they are not handled and trained correctly. Do they deserve all the blame? No. But they do deserve extreme caution.It's like having a .22 and a .357, when they kill people it's not the guns fault, but which one does the most damage is what's looked at.
