Is there anybody left on the planet who doesn't know how this is going to play out? George Bush and his idiot neo-con brainless-trust have destroyed a secular Iraqi state and replaced it with a Shiite theocracy which will naturally ally itself with Iran, impose sharia law on it's populace, use its oil wealth to support Hezbollah and Hamas, and in the end, probably rule with an even bloodier hand against its own people than Saddam ever did. George Bush has single-handedly created a Shiite, fundamentalist crescent that runs from Iran to the Mediterranean, made Israel far less safe, and thrown the ME into a disastrous tempest which will last for decades.
The Saudis have already stated that they will not stand idly by while Iran (through Sadr and Sistani) takes over Iraq and begins a campaign of genocide against Sunnis in Iraq. The Turks will not allow the Kurds to declare themselves an autonomous state - which the Kurds are intent on doing.
The malfeasance, incompetence, and idiocy of George Bush is almost perfect in its sheer, bull-headed stupidity. You can leave the American troops in there for another week or another ten years and it won't change a thing, except for the final number of how many Americans die there.
George Bush will go down in history as one of the great morons of all time.
