Yeah, the ex-players are always going to be nostalgic of the "family values" of the old guard, but I'm not sure this is really a reason to get ticked at Peddy. If Callahan wanted a new head trainer, for whatever reason, I don't think it had to do with Callahan caring less about building a "family" environment. Maybe he and Ostergard didn't see eye to eye on a lot of things. Maybe Callahan just thinks someone else could do a better job. Either way, I don't think the former players are really in the position to be so critical of a head coach making staffing decisions.
