See, after watching the failures of Kile(RIP), Hampton and Neagle, I don't think the Rockies should pay a boat load for a pitcher. I will say, certain pitchers succeed in Colorado, while a lot of stars won't. Not keeping Jennings was a mistake IMO, he worked well in Coors Field.
Cook and Francis seem to be a good duo, but if there is one thing you need, is depth of pitching especially for the Rockies. Hopefully they will have that this year, but I am iffy. Hopefully some of the young guys step up. I will say, it is hard to follow them living outside of Colorado now. I didn't even know they signed Javy Lopez until I looked at the Rockies clubhouse page on ESPN.com and saw he was listed in the team salary.
