Like I said in the other thread I have never played at a casino/cruise ship casino for real $. Its my understanding that on these new computer tables that the game takes something called a "rake". How that heck does that work a % of the winning hand

The rake is how the casino makes its money in cash/ring games. Its usually a percentage of each pot and is capped at say $4 per pot. The rake on the cruise ships are usually pretty brutal. like 15% with a cap of $10.
It doesnt change the way you play.. The one good thing about the machines...dont have to tip the dealer!
