WooHoo! This is my thread.

I used to drink Bud only until I went to Germany a few months ago. The beer over there is soooo good! Just like STBumpkin has been saying, unpasturized beer is the bomb. I never drank so much in my life on that trip and never felt like s**t. It opened my eyes to all the variety of beer, light and dark. Now when I go get beer I get something different everytime.

I've tried;

Sam Adams - good
Fat Tire - ok
Spatan Optimator - really good
Hobgoblin - Really Really good, my favorite so far
Ayinger Altbairisch Dunkel - pretty good
Ettaler Curator - good
St. Paulie Girl - good
St. Paulie Girl Special Dark - Better
Pilsner Urquell - ok
Shiner Bock - ok
Leinenkugel Red - good, but better on draft
Dos XX - really good
Dos XX Amber - really good

I've had a few others, but can't remember what exactly they were. With the ones listed above I saved a bottle of each kind and will continue to do that as long as the wife lets me.

Good beers can come in green bottles, but its risky. Green bottles allowing in bad light that makes the beer skunky. One time it may be skunky and other times its great.

I've been doing a lot of research on homebrew. I just need to get the equipment now so I can get started.

Beer Beer Beer....I love Beer...
