It's going to come down to individual voters deciding whether keeping medicare is worth going to a single payor, govt administered, health care plan. In fact it may be coming down to whether keeping medicare for oldsters and any insurance for workers not funded solely from their pay checks w/o employers kicking in is worth going to single payor, govt administered, health care plan.
