Just please understand that HALF of the U.S. despises Bush and his policies exactly the same way you describe there. He won by just a handful of votes in 2000, and it was almost as close in 2004 - both elections came down to 1 state's final results. But finally this week more Americans caught on to the arrogance of power ... so to the extent you can (if you ever make friends
) let them know this - that half of us cannot stand him.
And I seriously doubt the Democrats want MORE German involvement .... that seems odd. And remember, Bush is still President - "Commander-in-Chief" of the armed forces for two more years. He can't run again, but Hilary Clinton has a decent shot to win, believe it or not.
