I certainly don't begrudge anyone who enjoys these gruesome horror movies. All I'm saying is that I don't understand the fascination with them, or any gratuitous slayer flick. And I think at some level, they probably do harm to young minds (i.e. Dylon Kleibold and Eric Harris types).
I guess it's like anything. The majority of people can handle a trip to Vegas, but there's always that fraction of a percentage of people who will cross the line and blow it all.
I wasn't talking about you, I was talking about people I know personally who claim to abhor movie violence......yet thought that The Passion was such a masterpiece that should be required viewing for all.
I just think it's interesting how people get a little fuzzy on what's acceptable and what isn't when the subject matter is something they agree on or believe in.
