Dartmouth opens up their regular season with a 5-2 win over Harvard.
David Jones scored once and added two assists. He had two shots on goal and finished plus two for the game. Jones skated on a line with Nick Johnson and Tanner Glass. Jones was named the second star.
Massachusetts-Lowell upsets Boston University with a 2-1 win.
Brandon Yip is out indefinitely with a separated shoulder.
Minnesota shuts out Colorado College 2-0.
Ryan Stoa was held pointless, had four shots on goal and finished even for the game. Michael Carman was thrown out of the game in the first period for a hit from behind. In his brief appearance he had one shot on goal. Derek Peltier had one shot and was plus one. Peltier was paired with Erik Johnson.
Minnesota-Duluth beats Denver in overtime 2-1.
The Pioneers were 0-7 on the power play. Recap
Boston College shuts out Wisconsin 3-0.
Nigel Williams did not play.
Miami edges Bowling Green 4-3.
Justin Mercier had no points, three shots on goal and was minus two. Mercier skated on a line with Nino Musitelli and Marty Guerin.
Northern Michigan shuts out Ohio State 2-0.
Kevin Montgomery had two shots on goal and finished even.
Michigan beats Northeastern in overtime 4-3.
TJ Hensick had two assists (both on the power play), no shots on goal and finished even. He was named the third star. Billy Sauer made 20 saves and improved his record to 4-1-0.
