I don't care how real it is, I don't care how cool Blu-Ray is, 600 bucks is something I'm not spending on a video game system. I could finance a trip up to Denver for a Broncos game, make a car payment, etc, with that money.
I'm right there with you Rhymes, I don't think that many people care that much about the extra features for a ps3. Like you said $600 can do a lot more for me than just a video game system and that's just for the system. If you want to get a few games at launch you are looking at close to $1000. With that money I could get a wii and 360 with money left over.
Of course I like looking at great graphics but it's not that big of a deal for me. I'll take a tiny downgrade in graphics if you will give me Zelda, Mario, and a much cheaper price. Plus you get to download old nes and snes games into your system and play them for a rumored $5-$10 I think.
