No, I have never heard anything like that. Just an observation.
I guess I equated it to the NFL. They gave up TD and Eddie Mac's #'s so quickly. The TD one really pained me.
I'm surprised Shannon's 84 wasn't retired by the Broncos, but I'm very happy with how it's being used these days.
