Marek Svatos, Brad Richardson, Wojtek Wolski and Paul Stastny are making Hockeysfuture.com's prospect organizational rankings of the past few years look excellent
. 6 of the Avs 7 goals have been scored by players less than 23 years old.
Two of the biggest keys to Colorado's playoff chances are Jose Theodore and Tyler Arnasson. Theodore has looked pretty good so far while Arnasson has been almost invisible.
I hope we don't rely on special teams all season. Scoring at even strength is the best indicator of a team's ability (imo) and the Avs are doing terrible at that right now.
I can't wait to see Jordan Leopold make his Avalanche debut. Adding him to the blueline and subtracting Brisebois would be a major upgrade, but somehow I get the feeling that either Ken Klee or Ossi Vaananen is going to be the odd defenseman out.
