You see, my family will be flying in Friday evening, and we plan to visit different places around the city of Denver on Saturday. I was looking for a good mountain view, lake view, or any natural view that my family might enjoy. I have Estes Park right now (good choice?) and the Rocky Mountains (best view? how to get there?). But I have no ideas past that.
Any help on this matter would be appreciated. Please either reply to this thread or PM me. Thanks a lot!
You are on the right track. Go to Rocky Mountain National Park. The leaves should be just about to change and the Elk are buggling. make sure you bring a camera. It's about an hour from Denver to Estes. DO NOT GO THROUGH BETWEEN 3-5PM there is a game at 5pm and you'll regret going that way.
