I'm sure Sideburn would be happy to tell you all about it. I as recall, someone else was actually slated to do the draft, but they had problems, and after making a few initial picks, they were called away or something, and the autodraft did start filling out the roster with one QB after another.
Sideburn took over the team and had to make some trades to make it viable. He had a big stockpile of QBs to work with that created a little bit of a shortage everywhere else, so he had at least something to work with.
This was the year when Culpepper was red hot, which helped SB a lot. I think he had a couple other guys who also came through better than most people expected, such as Dillon and Fitzgerald. He got off to a great start. Then there was a controversial trade down the road somewhere, but I don't recall the details. He lost only one game all year and took the championship.
Last year, he drafted most of the same guys, but, like a lot of FFL teams who relied on Culpepper, the wheels came off.
