His backup is
Andre Jones a 5 star recruit and the number 4 juco recruit last year according to rivals. This now makes the entire secondary a huge question mark..... the lack of experienced depth there astounding and puts a huge damper on my optimisum going into the season. The only person that would have been a bigger loss to the team would be Zac Taylor IMO. I hope some guys step up, or things could get ugly.
On the Beck situation, I heard that Beck is still in town and will meet with Callahan tomorrow. There has been some talk about his maturity, or lack of maturity. Some insiders have mentioned that he is not very respected by his teammates, and that he cares more about his band than his football future. I hope that's not true and that they can get his head straightened out... he's got all the natural talent in the world.
*EDIT* Now the word is that Beck drove back to Florida this weekend. Not sure if/when he will meet with Callahan.
