Bacterium if you will. It just seems like
reptile-associated salmonellosis is a lot more common than people realize. I must have owned at least a hundred lizards when I was a kid, including some iguanas, but I never contracted any illnesses. I guess because I made a point of always washing my hands after I handled those creatures. I imagine all you have to do is touch your nose or rub your eyes and you might become infected.
