Nobody saw it coming. I got lucky and saw most of the press conference yesterday on Speed ( I was waiting for Nascar this morning to start). I have to hand it to JP, he is one smart driver. One of the reporters asked him how it would feel to hangout in 30th place in every race next year and He said He almost expected to be there as he and the team will be new to Nascar. Meaning they are new to each other. I am not really a CCR fan but I like JP because he is very up front.
yes, he is, and with him one of the more entertaining character disappears from F1. I think it's good for NASCAR, it'll bring more international viewers (not that they really need it). I'm an avid F1 fan since 1984 and never really followed NASCAR. It's not that appealing to me (almost no tv coverage till now might have played a role in that) , but since this year all Nextel cup races are live on pay-tv here in Germany, and I watched the odd race here and there. I will pay more attention to it now, that's for sure.
