Man charged with molesting girls
A 63-year-old man registered as a high-risk sex offender has been arrested on suspicion of molesting two girls, according to Lt. Chuck Lauderdale of the Natrona County Sheriff's Office.
Delbert Duane Denniston faces four counts of second-degree sexual assault, as well as at least one morals charge, Lauderdale said. According to the Wyoming attorney general's Web site, Denniston was convicted in Powell in 1995 of immoral and indecent acts with a minor.
Denniston appeared in court on Wednesday, and he remains in jail on $10,000 bond, Lauderdale said. He is suspected of assaulting two elementary school-age girls earlier this week. Denniston apparently knew the girls through their parents, Lauderdale said.
