Does attendance tell the story? Or during the "down" years are the season tickets being passed out to whoever will take them? A lot of corporate seats in all the venues, now. So does taking a ticket and going because it's a "freebie" constitute a bandwagon fan? Does turning back your season ticket to show your displeasure with how management is mishandling the franchise constitute a bandwagon or a true fan? People express their interest and committment to their teams in all sorts of ways, I s'pose.
