On fouling out at the end of the game:
It was incredibly frustrating because of the type of fouls that were being called down the stretch there. I didnít think they were fouls and then to sit with that with such a short clock.
On the sixth foul call:
He didnít fall into me. He didnít touch me Ė I didnít touch him. He tried to draw contact, I moved out of his way. If he stepped on my foot, he stepped on my foot. There was zero contact.
Yes Duncan does get a little animated when he doesn't gets some calls, but I don't recall a time EVER in his career when his beef wasn't legit. If Duncan is complaining then it almost 100% certain the ref got it wrong.
For a 2-time MVP and 3-time finals MVP, he doesn't get near the benefit of the doubt most NBA stars (Nowitski anyone?) seem to get from the refs. In fact it's almost silly the type of fouls he gets called for compared to the muggings he gets on offense. It's been that way for about 2-3 years now.
