Buffalo Wings
This is a tribute to buffalo wings, and how awesome buffalo wings are.
Who else loves buffalo wings? http://howtomakebuffalowings.com/ima...alo_wings2.jpg |
Roosters in GJ and Clifton has the best wing sauces and fries. The wings are on the small side, but tasty through and through. Do the all you can eat deal for $13, go hungry and devour those little suckers.
If you're ever passing through GJ on I-70 and you get the hankerin' for wings, check it out. |
I love food. Well, a lot of people do. But the food I have deemed my favorite? Yup...hot wings! I LOVE hot wings! I can honestly say that overall, hot wings are my favorite food. It's gotta be spicy Buffalo sauce though. Don't bother giving me honey BBQ or honey mustard or any of that crap. HOT wings should be HOT!
Oh, and just to kick off this part of the debate...bleu cheese over ranch ANY DAY! The weird thing is, I prefer ranch on my pizza. But for wings? BLEU CHEESE! |
How can you not love Buffalo wings? ???
If you're brave enough to go to an away game at that hellhole known as the Ralph, you'd do yourself a favor by stopping at the Anchor before you left town. It'd make the whole trip worth it, trust me on that. |
Haiku To Buffalo Wings:

That is one of the sexiest things I have ever seen! |
I don't understand why they don't have the movie theaters with food in Colorado. Makes no sense.
They had a deal in Wichita where the upper balcony was for food and booze and the downstairs was for just regular seating. Waiters would come to your seats and they had a lower level they walked in so they didn't cut out the view to the movie. We went to the two Grindhouse movies and put back a couple pitchers of beer and a huge plate of nachos. I wanted to go back the next day, but the lady friend wanted to do something else. EDIT: Warren Theatres - http://www.warrenoldtown.com/index.asp |
I don't like wings. They have too much meat on them.

I relish Buffalo Wings ... I admire Buffalo Wings ... I revere Buffalo Wings ... I put Buffalo Wings UP ON A FREAKING PEDESTAL!!! http://www.bostonherald.com/blogs/sp...falo-wings.jpg But heres "the rub" with Buffalo Wings ... There is an enormously WIDE variation in authenticity. True Buffalo Wings come with celery and bleu cheese only. And although this sounds weird ... Dominos Pizza actually makes some pretty good wings (ask for hot, not BBQ) |
I do and have been fortunate enough to have had them at their birthplace, the Anchor Bar in Buffalo NY!
I like mine crispy though, like this side of a cinder crispy...don't care for rubbery wings at all! |
Good point ... the sauce is just half the battle. You gotta fry the wings correctly first.
And now that you mention it, my recommendation, Dominos, are kinda rubbery. They do the sauce right though. |
