Dear God... Please let us play the Chiefs in Arrowhead in the first round playoffs
...This is all I want... A chance to right the wrongs of the last time we played and dominated them in their house, but walked away with a loss. I want to see us first and goal at the four again, and watch Portis pound it in... I want to see the refs call all the clips they see... I want to watch Dick crying on the sidelines as we trounce them by double digits. I want to see Portis take Holmes over his knee and give him the belt...
I just want to beat the Chiefs in their house in the playoffs... They are the only team I have absolutely no fear of in the post season. |
If this scenario plays out, it will make my season.
|
Dear God....Please let us beat Indy and GB first!!!
|
I'd rather go to Kansas City than Cincinnati.
|
TJ I agree with you. I also have no doubt in my mind that we would beat them too. I know deep down Chief fans don't want any part of Portis in the playoffs. Tell me what RB in this group you fear the most,
(A. Smith/F. Faulk, E. James, R. Johnson/C. Dillon, E. George, or C. Portis) |

However it needs to happen to get KC in round one... If that means we win out, or lose one, or whatever... I just want KC in round one. |

You are more than welcome to dig up the past and talk about a team thats is totally different frmo this one.
But in our house...you won't win. |
Okay, let's see.
Most likely scenario from here: 1. Indy beats us. 2. Rams beat the Bengals. 3. Buffalo, at home, finishes off Miami. 4. Ravens beat the Browns. 5. Tennessee beats Houston. 6. KC drops one to the Vikes. 7. Pats wrap up HFA with win over the Jets. Then: 1. We beat Green Bay. Finish 10-6. 2. Ravens knock off Pittsburgh. Finish 10-6. 3. Titans beat Bucs and finish 12-4. 4. Colts beat Texans and finish 13-3. 5. Chiefs beat Bears and finish 13-3. 6. Cincy beats Cleveland and finishes 9-7. 7. Miami beats Jets and finishes 9-7. 8. Pats beat Bills and finish 14-2. Fins and Bengals eliminated. New England would get top seed. Colts would get second seed over the Chiefs based on better record vs. common opponents (and KC loss to Denver would be the critical tiebreaker) Chiefs get 3d seed. Ravens get 4th seed. Titans get 5th seed (as wild card) Broncos get 6th seed (as wild card) Week One: Tennessee at Baltimore Denver at Kansas City. Yup, it could happen. |
I bet the Jets beat the Patriots....you heard it here first folks.
|
So your saying, we will be the reason KC doesn't get a bye week? And they said the game ment nothing?? LMMFAO!!!!
|
Amen to getting the Chafes in Arrowdump. Then, I'd like to go to Baltimore and shove the ball down those stinking Ratbird's throats for once. THE PAYBACK CAMPAIGN!
|
Who said the game meant nothing??
|
Denver Beating the Chiefs @ Narrowhead stadium in the Playoffs ....... ROFL! .That would kill Chief fan ;D
|
SJ...who said this game meant nothing...
|
I'd like to play KC again, but it would be interesting to play the Ravens with Jake instead of our backup QB's.
|
I just hope the opprotunity presents itself.
I think if we could get lelie on a couple early long balls it would help our chances with Indy. I do not want to have to go to GB if they are in a must win situation. |

I disagree. Camerohead is the last place I want to go. I think that belt business would have KC ready to leave it all on the field.
I'd rather go to New England and play a team we almost beat with Danny Kannell. That's just my opinion though. ??? |

Whe needs to dig up the past when your team is presently afraid to see us again? |
You need to dig up the past...your team can't beat the Chiefs on the road.

Chiefs, Colts and Patriots would all finish 13-3. They'd all have the same confernce record - each with 2 AFC losses and 1 NFC loss. They'd have 3 common opponents between themselves (Denver, Buffalo and Houston). This gets funky. The tiebreaker says "minimum of 4" but I'm not sure whether they mean 4 common opponents or 4 common games. If it's 4 common opponents, we skip down tothe next tiebreaker. If it's just 4 common games, then the Chiefs would be 3-1, the Pats would be 3-1, and the Colts would be 4-0. So Pats and Chiefs would go to "strength of victory" rules. At the moment, the Chief's S.O.V. rating is 6 (2 over the Chargers) + 8 (two over the Raiders) + 9 (one over the Broncos) + 8 (Ravens) + 8 (Packers) + 6 (Bills) + 5 (Texans) +4 (Browns) + 4 (Lions) for total of 53. At the moment, the Pat's S.O.V. rating is 11 (Eagles) + 6 (Jets) + 10 (Titans) + 9 (Broncos) + 4 (Browns) + 16 (2 over Dolphins), + 4 (Giants) + 5 (Texans) + 9 (Dallas) +11 (Colts) + 4 (Jags) for a total of 89. Not even close. Unless the Chiefs win out, they really need the Broncos to knock off the Colts this week in order to get a first round BYE. Ironic, huh? |

No thanks... The Ravens are the last team I want to face... I have no desire to meet the Ravens in a win or go home situation. |
