Not sure what any of this means, but it sure is interesting....

Seems hard to believe that this is a complete list. Only 3 teams interested in Moreno? Quinn had the same number. Only 2 for Ayers? Nobody at all wanted to work out Seth Olson.

it's exactly what you called it out to be (and no one was trying to convince you otherwise): it's an incomplete list of somewhat confirmed interest in the players we ended up drafting.

i think in the case of Moreno, most teams were expecting him to be gone early and didn't bother showing any interest. Ayers started only 1 year and teams were probably wary of that and Quinn as a blocking TE is surprising he got the amount of workouts he did. but supposedly the Jets were taking him with the 1st pick on day 2 of the daft so we got him at the right time

Didn't San Diego come out and say if Moreno was still around he was their pick? Or did I misread that somewhere?

I like the fact that the Ravens and Steelers were both interested in Quinn. Both of those teams know how to draft and have been pretty successful adding complimentary pieces to a strong core. I think we'll see the same thing with Quinn. A good compliment to a strong OL.

All speculation but I would guess that they would much rather have Knownshon (get it ;D) than drafting English.

I like that the Patriots were interested in Baker, makes me feel good about that pickup. Although a UDFA so no risk which is perfect for a low character guy.

Of course they did, they thought he might be available later and of course DEN needed Defensive players..... That is if they wanted him ;D

Interest is simply interest. It can mean anything. It could mean they are trying to overvalue a player or undervalue one by not talking to them. It is such a diverse variable that you can not put any confidence in what it means IMHO. One team drafts from only the players it works out, one team does not draft a single player it works out. The draft becomes extremely fluid at some point and these teams have to adjust.

I find it weird that all those teams looked at those UDFA and didn't give them a look on draft day. Maybe they know something we dont.

I saw him play ball in HS...he's a good back.

McCoy? I've heard/read that he's smallish and can't block, but Westbrook was the same way when he first got drafted and he's now really good at blitz pick up. I think he was their Plan B and they're happy since Maclin fell to them in the 1st.

I'm telling you Mccoy is a good natural runner. Hopefully he's less douchey than ricky watters. Since he's also from harrisburg, pa - playing in philly should be like playing at home for him.
