The Luckeyes' luck runs out!

No championship game repeat for the Luckeyes!

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

I can't explain how good this feels! There isn't any team in any sport that I hate more the Luck Eyes. Watching them squeak through game after game for two years was bad enough but watching Michigan pound the ball down their throats against that "tough" run defense was great!

Ohio State's repeat was shattered and it was done at the hands of Michigan! Michigan will probably finish ranked ahead of them at the end of the year.....

Drink it up Denfan but when you are sober again I will remind you again and again who the better team is!

Michigan is a great team, but i dont think ridiculing OSU is appropriate here. They actually fought pretty damn hard in this game. Krenzel is a pretty tough QB. And they made a nice comeback in that game. They just didnt have enough guns this time. Still a pretty strong effort. Chris Perry is a very good back for Michigan.

SoCal this is a long coming between Denfan and I. ;) I've had to take it for along time I just wanted to dish it out for an afternoon.

You're real favorite team got beat by Hinz's team, Wafflehawk. Don't act like you're some big Michigan fan now when we know you're not.

I'm just stunned, our defense that won us 9 of our 10 games this year(our offense did it in PSU), lost us this game. If you were to tell me that OSU would put up 3 offensive TD's this game, well first I'd say you're f'n nuts, then I'd say that there's no way we'd lose this game. I just don't know what happened, a D that could rival Oklahomas D forgot how to tackle and catch(you suck Fox). I haven't OSU miss that many tackles all season than they did in the Michigan game. We made Chris Perry look good, and made people let up on John Navarre, although he tried his best to choke still and wasn't that good.

Story of the game and only true reason that we lost this game, Michigan played all 4 quarters and OSU played for about a quarter and a half or so. The 3rd quarter was the only time I truely saw the OSU team out there that I've seen so many times this year, stuffed the run, got pressure on the QB and 3 and out's for the Wolverines.

Any Michigan fan that says that they weren't pissing themselves as OSU came back to make it 28-21 and Gamble intercepted a John Navarre pass is flat out lieing. I think everyone thought that OSU was coming back to win it, I know I did and everyone else I was with(BW3's with about 50 Bucks fans) thought that we were. I'll question Tressel's move to put Krenzel back in, but he said that it was out of loyalty for all he's done over the past 2 years for us, which I can accept. Hopefully we can make it to a BCS bowl, be fun to have a re-match of last years Fiesta Bowl against Miami(although I'll be praying for Pitt to beat the Canes so the Mountaineers can win the Big East).

But hell, we got ours and I guess we had it coming. Michigan answered most of the countries prayers of beating OSU and ending this championship run.

BTW, how'd Virginia Tech do against Boston College?

Darkhawk24 11-23-2003 10:29 AM

You know I'm a Michigan fan through and through.... I do however love Missouri no lieing about that and I knew they would get their jocks handed to them.

Darkhawk24 11-23-2003 10:34 AM

Back to the Michigan game, I got a little worried after that Gamble INT.... However when I saw Kreynzel go down I knew the game was probably over. As good as OSU has played this year Kreynzel helped keep that "fight" in them.

I was amazed how well Chris Perry played. I expected Michigan to win but I never honestly thought he would run right over them.

FADERPROOF 11-23-2003 10:55 AM

Yeah, I'll take back that first statement about DarkHawk not being a true Michigan fan and being a waffler, anyone who's had to hear my OSU talk for 2 years now is definitely a Michigan fan.

Surprisingly, most people wanted McMullen in after Michigan got up 14-0, and many weren't happy when Krenzel came back in the game after his injury. For some reason, I don't want a injured QB that is cold after not throwing one pass in a whole quarter in there when we're down by 14. McMullen seems to be rather effective also, he brought us back in the PSU game and won it, and held his own in there also.

Both are seniors, and next year OSU starts the "Zwick era."

WaffleBoy 11-23-2003 11:06 AM

Waffle, a Michigan fan? No, I am a fan of any team that is playing against OSU. ;D

I knew we were losing this game, because waffle said that we'd win ;)

WaffleBoy 11-23-2003 11:29 AM

Well, I had to break the trend, and I must say, it paid off dividends. ;D

and my avatar sig has changed, the torch is officially passed to a landmark in Norman, OK known as Oklahoma University.

Would've been nice to be the first 2 time BCS National Champs, but it looks as though Oklahoma will be the team that does it.

It is sad to think that next years team is suppose to be even better. Jason White may be back next year if he gets a 6th season which he should. And they already have the number 1 qb in the country commited, the number 5 rb commited, and the number 1 rb should go there as they lead on him. On their 2 deep roster 14 of 22 are sophmores or freshman. It's sickening living here listening to the homers all day long.

Darkhawk24 11-23-2003 12:42 PM

Bob Stoops is just sick! That guy can recruit and coach.... Get that guy in the NFL! ;)

FADERPROOF 11-23-2003 02:02 PM

If any good came from the game, it is that Michigan and OSU will be battling as top 10 teams for awhile to come, as both have recruiting well the past 2 years and have some great players coming in.

Guiterrez vs. Zwick should be a great QB match-up for the next 2 years or so.
