Javon Walker found unconscious in Vegas--with a fractured orbital bone

http://www.profootballtalk.com/2008/...ious-in-vegas/

As rumor has it, Raiders owner Al Davis thinks that receiver Javon Walker is the key to the team’s 2008 season.

If that’s the case, it might be time to start making plans for the first overall pick in the 2009 draft.

Walker, who has a bad knee that traces to a torn ACL in 2005, was found unconscious on a Las Vegas street on Monday morning, according to FOX 5.

He was taken to a nearby hospital, and is in fair condition with a fracture to an orbital bone.

Per media reports, Walker was seen on Saturday night spraying the crowd at Tryst night club with some of the 15 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne he had ordered

tsiguy96 06-16-2008 07:35 PM

hahahahahahahahahahaha. he truly is a raider.

Paladin 06-16-2008 07:36 PM

Rumor or truth? Maybe the "fun" has begun......

loborugger 06-16-2008 07:40 PM

Wow. Just wow.

Broncos - 1
Walker - 0

You know you might have a problem when...

rovolution 06-16-2008 07:48 PM

if its true, tough break Javon...

Please stay healthy until the opener so I can see you get Lynched on Monday Night football.

DukeWoody 06-16-2008 07:49 PM

I could believe this, i mean we all know Walker likes the loose party lifestyle...he's in sin city quite often and not to long ago he was one of the headline guest names at AVN awards...so yeah, i wouldn't be shocked if this is more then just a rumore...good riddance and nothing personal javon; can't play for the Broncos anymore because it's not best for javon, javon...

kmonty 06-16-2008 07:50 PM

I kinda feel bad for the guy... geez... he's been a wreck ever since DWill.

RunSilentRunDeep 06-16-2008 07:52 PM

"fracture to an orbital bone?" Did he pass out or was he knocked the f-out?

no-pseudo-fan 06-16-2008 07:53 PM

I hope he is ok. A fractured orbital bone is not good. Bad things, bad things happen when you don't take care of your own business.

eddie mac 06-16-2008 07:57 PM

"15 bottles of Dom Perignon champagne he had ordered"

It's well seen he can afford that after the Dick Turpin of the NFL robbed 2 of the 32 franchises. Who's the next sucker???

Didnt Romo end that one dudes career back in Jokeland by breaking his orbital bone or something like that? (I think the injury Romo inflicted was much worse though)

If this is true then i feel javons thievery run in the NFL has most likely come to an end....but as they say there's a new sucker everyday...

Wasn't the spraying of champagne one of the items stated that started the situation that ended up in the killing of D-Will?
I was initially disappointed that we cut him and he went to the Raiders, now I am glad we do not have him around at all, and Shanny uncerimoniously let him go.

Grover 06-16-2008 08:04 PM

I loved Javon's playing for us up until the time he went all ME ME ME after the last game of the season. Then he's showed absolutely no class towards us since then. But I'm sorry to hear about this injury as I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

I wonder if his contract has a clause about forfeiting money if he has a non football injury. Maybe Vegas isn't right for Javon either?

Bob's your Information Minister 06-16-2008 08:04 PM

Which one of you did it?

Atwater His Ass 06-16-2008 08:04 PM

Has this been confimred by any legitimate media outlets?

watermock 06-16-2008 08:05 PM

He got "Rick Rolled".

YUP. Javon Walker is an ass, and maybe now he will finally have learned his lesson. People don't give a rats ass who you are, and they sure as hell don't want some attention whore athlete spraying them and their women down with champagne.

:punched:

brncs_fan 06-16-2008 08:12 PM

Maybe Javon just wanted to make it rain but wasn't really sure what that meant so he just went with his initial thought process.

Broncobuddy7 06-16-2008 08:15 PM

IF this story is true I feel bad for Javon. I would love to see the Broncos kick his butt up and down the field, but this would only be another unfortunate off the field incident for him.

TheReverend 06-16-2008 08:15 PM

I think Marshall did this... this would be the second time in a year that Marshall showed him who the better man was, only this time it was by beating his fruity ass

Why do you feel bad? If some jag-off I don't know is spraying me with champagne, I'd leave him on the street with a broken leg too.
