OT: Where Are You Going on Vacation?
 

Maybe it's just me, i'm getting ready for a long earned vacation starting this weekend. Leaving the kids at home and going to the beach with my wife. I thought we could play a fun game - where are you going on vacation? You see, I ask the question, then you tell me - easy game. Post a pic if you can.

Here's my spot for next week - Grace Bay, Turks and Caicos (in the Caribbean).

Never been on a vacation, definatley wont be going anywhere this year. Hopefully someday.

Im 19 and i have no money. This boss will be spending his days on the beaches here in Florida for the next few years, but that ok cuz we got all the fine girls here.

But it would be nice to be able to go somewhere and not think about anything.

Week after next I'll be in Ireland-looking forward to it-

Already been to Kauai and on an 8 day mexican fishing trip this year. Heading to Denver later on this year for some football.... and who knows where else I might end up :???:

I am having trouble including this picture in the body of the thread, so I just attached it. This is my backyard. I am not going anywhere special this year...just staying local.

Toss up between Belize or Nevis later in the year. Heading to my home away from home (Nawlins) next month!:alky:

Do you hike along the Na Pali coast? I did that one time and took my snorkel gear, it was awesome.

On the trail, you can pick lychees and eat them. Then, choose your beach (be careful on the way down) and you will be all alone. The only caution I have is that the currents there are some of the strongest I have ever snorkeled in. I am a strong swimmer, I had some bad ass fins, and I was still getting swept out to sea when I tried to cross breaks in the reef.

But, it was worth it. Beautiful stuff, and untouched for the most part. Also, sometimes from up on the cliff paths you can see whales out in the distance.

We'll try to squeeze a few days in San Fransciso some time this summer. I went ther last December for the first time as an adult (non-business), and I fell for that city ... it has an NYC cosmopolitan feel.

20 minutes down to the road to Dove Valley for Training Camp.

I'll be there with the family 1st week of July! We also plan on paying Shamu a visit.

Besides SF, this is my destinations. Because of my personal economy, I am going to Vegas for my anniversary (free two nighter at the Hooters hotel) and OMane weekend in September destination Denver. Staying close to home. I live in OC where many come to vacation so maybe hang out at the beach more and go to Disneyland for free (InLaw retired there so free pass) and already paid for Knotts family pass so use it at will.

Denver, CO for a wood bat baseball tourney, around the 4th of July.

Punta Leons Costa Rica in July. I can't wait, it is getting harder and harder to go to work in the morning. I need a break.
