Yea, essentially when the teams are picked it will put them in brackets for you and you just choose which teams will win the games and win the tourney. Each round will have its own point system which is something like Round 1= 1 point, 2nd round= 3 points, 3rd round= 6 points, and so on.

Northman 03-15-2008 01:54 PM

We only got 4 people signed up. Come on people! its free! We need more people so i can dominate just like i will do in the main Pick em league. :)

Los Broncos 03-16-2008 08:45 PM

All picked, lets see what happens.

Northman 03-16-2008 09:52 PM

Same here, the wife and i have ours ready to go too. She really went out on a limb on some of her picks but ive seen crazier things happen. lol.

On a side note i like those little info boxes they have next to the matchups are really great.

In 1998, 10 years ago...

The team from Palo Alto went 0-2 against eventual Pac-10 champ and #1 tournament seed Arizona, also the defending national champion. The Cardinal earned a #3 seed and went on to the Final Four on the shoulders of twin towers Jarron and Jason Collins, losing a tight game to eventual national champion Kentucky, which was 1997's runner-up. Arizona advanced to the Elite Eight, and lost to eventual runner-up Utah.

In 2008...

Stanford went 0-3 against eventual Pac-10 champ and #1 seed UCLA, also last year's runner-up. The Cardinal earned a #3 seed and....

....

(went on to the Final Four on the shoulders of twin towers Brook and Robin Lopez, winning a tight game against the hated #1 seed Bruins, last year's runner-up.)

....

I salivate at the thought of a rematch with UCLA in the Final Four.

Game 1 @ Maples, there were no students on campus for the game.

Game 2 @ Pauley was a highly controversial overtime loss that most acknowledge was a screw-job by Pac-10 officiating.

Game 3 @ Staples Center, with an overwhelmingly pro-Bruins crowd in LA, was decided by just 2 points. UCLA was coming off wins against NIT-bound Cal and #6 seed USC. Stanford was coming off wins against #10 seed Arizona and #4 seed Washington State. It was the third game in as many days for both squads.

(Game 4 in San Antonio......)

It begins today...good luck, hope I win and you all picked American U to win the National Championship. :)

my pac10 homer bracket is getting clobbered.
