Well we can officially say the record is tainted. I didn't watch except his first at bat, he damn near came close to hitting that one out. The best part about it though is Selig skipped the game to attend to the Steroid probe!

Who caught the ball?

TheChamp24 08-07-2007 11:59 PM

Nice message from Aaron though IMO to acknowledge what Barry has done.
I don't like Barry has the record, but he has it.
Love the mad scramble for the ball, lol, i bet a couple people have some nasty cuts and maybe broken bones.

Yeah I bet that damn ball changed hands 3-4 times under the scramble. I wonder if there will be another lawsuit?

WHO really cares any way! IT is the start of the only real sport that matters in america and thats Football.

The others just fill time on ESPN until The NFL starts.

bronco militia 08-08-2007 12:02 AM

SouthStndJunkie 08-08-2007 12:03 AM

Probably, I would be so happy to get it though and sell it for as much as I could get. Screw Barry and MLB, I want my money, I want a house and cars.

And Helton hits 2 HRs. He hasn't been hitting the long ball so well.

No chance of it happening anymore, but Griffey was always the one I wanted to see break it

This, after Irv, Joe and Mike Evans pretty much spent my entire drive home ragging on Helton today on 950.

chaz 08-08-2007 12:12 AM

I was just thinking today that every pitcher in baseball should just walk him everytime he comes to the plate as a protest against him....

A-Rod better get on his horse and break this record

OBF1 08-08-2007 12:13 AM

Congratulations to Barry. Greatest player in our lifetime. 756 and counting. I think now that the pressure is off, he is going to alot more now.

PS: Asterisk your a$$, There will never be one in the major league journals.

So did Romanowski.... Do we now *********** the bronco's superbowl trophies?

theAPAOps5 08-08-2007 12:19 AM

Romo didn't break any personal records. There is a difference. Barroid hasn't won his team jack so that can't be taken into question.
