Broncos TE Graham arrested in Denver

DENVER (May 16, 2007) – Denver Broncos tight end Daniel Graham was arrested on weapon and drug charges early Wednesday on suspicion of being involved in a disturbance with a weapon, authorities said.

Graham was questioned by police after he was pointed out as someone involved during a disturbance at a Denver restaurant, Denver police spokesman officer James Polite said.

Polite said Graham acknowledged to police that he was carrying a 9mm pistol. Police then searched his car and found what believed to be cocaine. He was arrested and charged with carrying a weapon without a license, possession of drugs and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Graham was released Wednesday afternoon on a $7,000 bond.

Wow, was the restaurant an IHOP? Man, people are going to pounce all over this...Denver is already getting a bad rep for taking chances with character issue people...not that I personally think weed and coke are all that bad. But guns and drugs are a bad mix.
