The Warriors have not seen a motivated Mavs team. I'm not worried by them at all. I've seen enough Nellieball to know that it will not beat a team like Dallas in the playoffs.
2. Posted in last years finals with mavs up 2-0.

I wonder if the mavs should get the brooms out for this one as Miami isn't nearly anywhere in the league of Dallas.

Im expecting between 67-69 wins. A record of that significance (good for top 10 in NBA history...better than the showtime Lakers) will pretty much guarantee an MVP for Nowitzki. Even the doubters cant frown on Dirk if he places himself next to Jordan among the all-time greats
.-They will be the FIRST to lose to 8 seed with 7 games and FIRST with that many wins to not win it all.

don't have a quote but this is an awesome thread...I'm sure he will be pissed.

They chose the Warriors.

Dallas will win in 4 games.

The Golden State Warriors scare the crap out of me. ::)

This is the same team (but better) that beat San Antonio on their own floor in game 7 last season. They arent afraid of jack, son. You can roll whoever you want out there.

Baron Davis is a waste. He could have been Magic Johnson, but instead chose to be Hot Sauce. That's cool too, but give your fans what they pay for Baron.

Andris Biedrins is a really interesting player. His wingspan is immense, he plays defense, he's a smart player, he has soft hands, and has a versatile offensive skill set.

Monte Ellis is a freak. If he ever finds a desire to dominate in the league, he'll have no problem doing it.

This game has been fun to watch. Nellie took total advantage of Nash and out-Nellied the new Nellies.

And last but not least, the one that really takes the cake, and ties this whole thing together:

And for the record, none of the above quotes even begin to include the "NBA Jersey Conspiracy" of last season, nor all of the defending that went on about how Dirk never choked in last year's Finals.

I think the tagline "Chasing Jordan" referred to either MJ's short baseball career, or his couple years with the Wizards.

So thank you, Mad Yak, for bringing a ton of much needed humor to this place.

F llama for posting DWade in a wheelchair! F him!

GonzoLays 05-04-2007 01:22 AM

What is truly disappointing about all of this is the disappearing job Llama did when things went south.

That's bandwagon, no doubt. He talked all that **** and disappeared when things got tough.

Nobody is surprised. The guy was mocking Dwayne Wade when he was injured. Look at him now and he's nowhere to be seen. He's not a real fan. He's an extreme bandwagon fan if I have ever seen one.

RhymesayersDU 05-04-2007 01:27 AM

He's too busy returning his Mavs stuff, and buying back all his Bulls stuff.

Funny how things work out sometimes.

How true!! That's hilarious.

That MVP ceremony next week is going to be off the hook!

But seriously, I actually feel bad for Dirk.

DeusExManning 05-04-2007 01:30 AM

You realize by opening this thread that you invoke the comparison between the classic Maverick fan and the classic Bronco's fan. They are so much alike, unachieved mastery.

azbroncfan 05-04-2007 01:30 AM

The only question remains http://www.orangemane.com/BB/showthread.php?t=55927

Still don't know why the mods moved this thread. By Llama we won't see your spineless a$$ for awhile. Infact we haven't heard NBA from you in weeks.

ZONA 05-04-2007 01:30 AM

I told him before the playoffs even started that I'm not sure I would have wanted the Suns to play GS first. That team is atheletic, fast, can shoot lights out and just flat out dangerous.

The look on Cubans face was even better then llama feeling like that airline commercial..................WANT TO GET AWAY! :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome:

Got serverely hurt his shoulder months back and had to be taken off the corut via a wheelchair. Its not made up.

DeusExManning 05-04-2007 01:36 AM

Angryllama, my heart goes out to you. Now you know what it feels to be a Nuggets, or Lakers fan. GOLDEN STATE IS THE JACKSONVILLE OF 2007, WHOEVER THE MAVERICKS PLAY WILL BE THE PACKERS OF 2008.

But what an incredible game, Dirk gave up just like Kobe gave up agains the Suns last year. I was really looking forward to a Suns-Mavericks series. Last years Sun's Maverick series was one of the best series ever.

"Dirk has no heart. He fell victim to the Tin Man syndrome."

Advice to Mr. Llama...

It's a bunch of overgrown men playing a game. A GAME. I can guarantee the sun is going to come up tomorrow - even in Dallas.

Remind yourself you watch a game on TV and have no influence or control over any bounce of the ball.

You don't need to get a life. Enjoy the one you have whether the Mavs win or lose it really doesn't mean much in the universe.
