Whoop there it is! ~ Tag Team

Party people
Yeeeeeeaaaaahhhhhh
Tag Team Music
In full effect
That’s me DC
That reigns supreme
And my man Steve Rollin
We’re getting the flow (We’re getting the flow)
And it goes a lil sumpin like this

Tag team back again
Check into wreckin
Let’s begin
Party on party people let me hear some noise DC’s in the house jump jump rejoice
Says there’s a party over here a party over there
Wave your hands in the air, shake your derrière
These three words when you’re getting busy
Whoomp There it is hit me

Up side down, and inside out
I’m about to show you folks what it’s all about
Now its time for a ****a to get on the mic
And make this mother ****ing party hype
I’m takin it back to the old school
Cuz I’m a old fool
Whose sooo cool
If ya want to get down, imma show you the way
Whoomp there it is, let me hear you say.

Point blank, Gin and Juice I’m drinkin
?????as i puff on dank
Rock the mic
Uh Oh I crave skin
???? Find a hunny to dip it in
Slam dunk it, stink it, flip it and ride it that B double O T Y oh my
Ohhh that’s it, come on come on
Whoomp there it is… IM DONE

Some say I’m crazy cuz I’m pushin up daisies
The underground sound that I found is
Amazing, outstanding, demanding, commanding, you people dancing
That’s a breath taker, I produce a second, the under taker
You wanna come down to the under ground, old school, heres the shovel,
Can you dig it fool!

W H double O M P as I flow,
To the school of old, hardcore, keep the folklore wreck
3 to the 2 and 1 mic check
Mad skill, blow ill, I’m the mess of steel
That’s grill of the microphone I just killed
Party people is the party tag team is through
Whoop there it is, I thought you knew

Ahh, that brings back some good memories. Girls went crazy over that song back in the day. You are lying if you weren't pumping that song went it first came out.

I still like Mama said knock you out more.. with Run DMC it's up for grabs.. It's tricky and My Adidias are very, very, very close in quality.

Ice-T: Colors rocks, but I'd take I'm your pusher, Rhyme Pays and New Jack Hustler over it.
Public Enemy: I'd take Shut em Down, Burn Hollywood Burn, Don't Belive the Hype and Bring the Noise (together with Anthrax) over Welcome to the Terrordome.

Cypress Hill: I would take any song from the Black Sunday over that ;D

But then again... I'm more of a Thrash/Death Metal guy anyway ;)

colors helped move rap into a whole new light though. Thats why I like it better than his others.

Wasn't much of a black sunday album fan.

public enemy, I love almost everyone of thier songs so I wouldn't argue with any of the ones you listed, but I think as a song to match - up with the more"popular" songs in rap Welcome to the terrordome as to be the one you choose from them...either that or fight the power, but fight the power isnt al that great.

LordHelmchen 11-08-2006 02:36 PM

Good points. I wasn't aware that Colors was so important. I was only (and still am) a casual Rap listener and am pretty ignorant of the history of it.

But how can you not like Black Sunday? I simple love that one.

PE and Anthrax was the first big concert I went to. It was amazing and I was shocked at how much energy there was in the crowd when PE were on stage, and there was actually some moshing going on.

GonzoLays 11-08-2006 04:40 PM

Changes by Tupac is great. Love that song.

OPP by Naughty by Nature still gets me grovin'.

Army with harmony
Dave drop a load on 'em

OPP how can I explain it
I'll take you frame by frame it
To have y'all jumpin' shall we singin' it
O is for Other P is for People scratchin' temple
The last P...well...that's not that simple
It's sorta like another way to call a cat a kitten
It's five little letters that are missin' here
You get on occassion at the other party
As a game 'n it seems I gotta start to explainin'
Bust it
You ever had a girl and met her on a nice hello
You get her name and number and then you feelin' real mellow
You get home, wait a day, she's what you wanna know about
Then you call up and it's her girlfriend or her cousin's house
It's not a front, F to the R to the O to the N to the T
It's just her boyfriend's at her house (Boy, that's what is scary)
It's OPP, time other people's what you get it
There's no room for relationship there's just room to hit it
How many brothers out there know just what I'm gettin' at
Who thinks it's wrong 'cos I'm splittin' and co-hittin' at
Well if you do, that's OPP and you're not down with it
But if you don't, here's your membership

Chorus:
You down with OPP (Yeah you know me) 3X
Who's down with OPP (Every last homie)
You down with OPP (Yeah you know me) 3X
Who's down with OPP (All the homies)

As for the ladies, OPP means something gifted
The first two letters are the same but the last is something
different
It's the longest, loveliest, lean-- I call it the leanest
It's another five letter word rhymin' with cleanest and meanest
I won't get into that, I'll do it...ah...sorta properly
I say the last P...hmmm...stands for property
Now lady here comes a kiss, blow a kiss back to me, now tell me
exactly
Have you ever known a brother who have another like ah girl or wife
And you just had to stop and just 'cos he look just as nice
You looked at him, he looked at you and you knew right away
That he had someone but he was gonna be yours anyway
You couldn't be seen with him and honestly you didn't care
'Cos in a room behind a door no one but y'all are there
When y'all are finish, y'all can leave and only y'all would know
And then y'all could throw the skeleton bones right in the closet do'
Now don't be shocked 'cos if you're down I want your hands up high
Say OPP (OPP) I like to say with pride
Now when you do it, do it well and make sure that it counts
You're now down with a discount

Everything is going to be alright by Naughty is great too. Great lyrics

Smooth it out
This is a story about the drifter
Who waited through the worst for the best in crosstown
Who never planned on havin' so dick
Why me, huh?

[Chorus]
Everything's gonna be alright (alright)
Everything's gonna be alright (alright)
Everything's gonna be alright now (alright)
Everything's gonna be alright (alright)

[Verse 1]
Some get a little and some get none
Some catch a bad one and some leave the job half done
I was one who never had and always mad
Never knew my dad, mother **** the fag
Where ANYWAY I didN'T pick up, flipped the clip up
Too many stick-ups, 'cause ****as had the trigger hic-ups
I couldn't get a job, nappy hair was not allowed
My mother couldn't afford us, she had to throw me out
I walked the strip, WITH THIS HERE clip, who wanna hit?
I had to eat, this money's good as spent
I'M DOIN' BRAIDS, I wasn't paid enough
I kept 'em long 'cause I couldn't afford a haircut
I got laughed at, I got chumped, I got dissed
I got upset, I got a Tec and a banana clip
Was down to throw the led to any tellin' crackhead
I'm still livin' broke, so a lot of good it would've did
Or done, if not for bad luck, I would have none
Why did I have to live a life of such a bad one
Why when I was a kid and played I was a sad one
And always wanted to live like this or that one

[Chorus]

[Verse 2]
A ghetto bastard, born next to the projects
Livin' in the slums with bums, I SAID NOW WHY TREACH
Why do I have to be like this? momma said I'm priceless
So I am all worthless, starved, THATS JUST WHAT BEING NICE GETS
Sometimes I wish I could afford a pistol then, though
TO stop THE hell, I would've ended things a while ago
I ain't have jack but a black hat and napsack
Four squad stolen in cars in a blackjack
Drop that, and now you want me to rap and give?
Say somethin' positive? Well positive ain't where I lived
I lived right around a corner from west hell
Two blocks from south ****, it was in a jail cell
The sun never shone on my side of the street, see
And only once or twice a week i would speak
I walked alone, my state of mind was USUALLY home
I couldn't keep a girl, they wanted kids for cause of chrome
Some life, iF you ain't wear gold your style was old
And you got more juice than dope for every bottle sold
Hell no, I say there's gotta be a better way
But hey, never gamble IN THAT game that you can't play
I'm slowin' and flowin' and goin' in on and knowin' not now
How will I do it, how will I make it? I won't, that's how
Why me, huh?

[Chorus]

My third year into adulthood, and still a knucklehead
I'm better off dead, huh, that's what my neighbor said
I don't do jack but fightin', lightin' up the streets at night
Playin' hide and seek with a machetti SEEKING Freddy'S WIFE
Some say I'm rollin' on, nothin' but a dog now
I answer that with a tech, who wanna bow-wow?
'Cause I done been through more **** within the last week
Than A fly flowin' in doo-doo on the concrete
I been a deadbeat, dead to the world and dead wrong
Since I was born that's my life, oh you don't know this song?
So don't say jack, and please don't say you understand
All that man to man talk CAN JUST WALK DOWN
If you ain't live you couldn't feel it, so kill it, skillet
And all that talk about it won't help it out, now will it?
And illtown fell like I stuck-up props, got shot
Don't worry, I hit BY A, flurry, and his punk-ass dropped
But I'm the one who has been labeled as an outcast
IN TEACHER'S schools, I'm the misfit CHILD AND outlast
But that's cool with the bull, smack 'em backwards
That's what you get for ****in' with a ghetto bastard

[Outro]
If you ain't ever been to the ghetto
Don't ever come to the ghetto
'Cause you ain't understand the ghetto
And stay the **** out of the ghetto
Why me?
