Just curious......thought he needed to "learn" this year....no?

Yet, every time they showed him on the sidelines....he was standing there with his arms crossed, listening to his MP3 player.....

.....looking like a guy just waiting to play.

Probably not an MP3 player: my guess would be that he's plugged into the audio system between Shanahan & Plummer, listening to the play calls.

Cutler memorized the playbook the night of the draft. Now they have him memorizing other team's playbooks, for reference.

I think he's more or less watching and going "wtf?"

Psh, he watched every NFL game from last season 20 times over, he already knew all the teams in the league inside and out, so he'd be ready no matter who drafted him.

His incredible intellect allows him to use a multi-channel headset. In one ear is the coach to QB com, the other was playing Alice in Chains.
