He did? This must have happened while I was away last weekend.... hopefully he's OK.

Pezman 09-11-2006 07:05 PM

All I know is the dude requested that we delete his account. Pretty strange IMO

Florida_Bronco 09-11-2006 07:10 PM

That's odd. Did he get in an argument here or something?

The guys totally enjoyed playing golf... Sixstringlass and I did some shopping and sightseeing and played quite a bit of pool. We were kinda glad that we weren't expected to chase around the little white ball 'cause we're both very much night owls and the tee times every morning (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) were 9-9:30 am (we slept in while the guys had to get up at 6 or 7am ;D) Thompson Falls, MT is kinda a boring little burg, too... there was no live music anywhere last weekend and the lounge didn't even have a jukebox. 50's-60's oldies rock n' roll (on the radio, no less) was getting very old by the time we left. Still, that was better than the tunes we listened to in Wallace, ID... I don't think any genre of music except country exists in that town. Ha!

Sassy 09-11-2006 07:43 PM

Wallace, Idaho! Ha! Where exactly is that?
Sounds like you guys had a good time though!

It's along I-90 between Coeur d'Alene, ID and the Montana border. In days gone by, it was notorious for its brothels... LOL It's a quaint little town with cool little shops for tourists to browse. And country music playing everywhere. Ha!

Wow...Wallace, ID. Did you make it to the Snakepit?

You were pretty close to my 'unibomber' lake cabin in Idaho, Blue. Just up the road from Coeur d'Alene at Priest Lake.

Yeah... Wallace is quite the town, isn't it? :D We didn't go to the Snakepit... if we're in that area again, we'll have to check it out.

My kids spent one weekend at Priest Lake with my sister and her husband this summer. It's beautiful country around there... and the "This is Grizzly Bear Habitat" signs add to the ambience. A bull moose wandered into the campground maybe 50 feet away from them.

Hey, whenever you're gonna be at your lake cabin, you should shoot me a PM... we'll grab a cup of coffee or a beer and talk some Broncos football.

smalltowngrll 09-12-2006 02:59 PM

We'll be in Couer d"alene in two weeks...or there abouts!! ;D

We'll have to talk about it while we are in Denver! Maybe we can hook up for a drink or something while we are up there!

Sassy 09-12-2006 04:40 PM

Ha! Do you ever stay home STG? ;D

It is beautiful country! A world apart from New Orleans...

Moose are everywhere along with elk, beaver, deer et al....a regular menagerie!

Except for July and August..it is easy to have entire days on the Lake where you feel like you are the only one out there. Here is a pic from Priest earlier this year...looking East towards Chimney Rock...
(this was a quick walking shot Pez...so no critiques on this one from the master! Not even a polarizer...yikes!)
