Good god man... those 8 team leagues are sick!!! That lineup is pretty sweet. I dont like Hasslebeck, but he's due for a better campaign this year for sure. And of course, having LT AND Jordan on the roster wont hurt at RB. |
Yeah, 8 teamers are very hard to judge. I was supprised to see the players available!
I have a good situation though. One of Dom Davis (w/Kubes) or DeAngelo Williams (Panthers like to run) will emerge for me. Witten at TE and Kevin Jones under Mike Martz could be interesting as well. |
ive heard brian calhoun is doing well plus im not so sold on kevin jones but other than that a great roster. im pretty high on hasselbeck, not a big fan, but he has healthy receivers this year and Ds will be creeping an 8th in the box to stop the run game so i see him putting up about 25/3500, maybe more on the TD front if they use stevens in the red zone and burleson can be a RZ threat. o and lamont didnt look too great last night against the eagles but domanick davis, if he can get healthy, should do very well IMO.

QUESTION for anyone willing to answer.
I've been offered a trade of Lawrence Maroney and Javon Walker for Lamont Jordan and Lee Evans. My other RB's are Tomlinson, Dom Davis, Mike Bell, and DeAngelo Williams. My other Receivers are Holt, Chad Johnson, Joe Horn, and Antonio Bryant. Should I take the chance on Maroney? If I knew that either Dom Davis or Mike Bell were good to go for the entire season, I'd take the chance. Hard to tell if Maroney will get the bulk of the work w/Dillon in NE. Not worried about losing Lee Evans. I have enough depth to keep me out of trouble and think that Walker would be an upgrade... though not a big one. LITTLE HELP...ASAP |

DON'T DO THAT DEAL. I don't like it. Lamont, while not a stud, is pretty much the ONLY option that Oakland has at RB. Jordan will get 85-90% of their carries by season's end (unless an injury comes). He's no LT or LJ but he's still a top 15 RB IMO. Maroney definately has the upside but from everything I've heard (on sirius NFL radio) is that Dillon will be the #1 RB when the season kick's off. As long as Dillon is healthy the best you can hope for out of Maroney is 40% of the carries. Do you really want to have to hope for an injury for your RB to get the bulk of the carries? I think Evans is primed for another 2004 campaign if not better. Look I got burned on Evans week in and week out last season. You know that cause you traded him to me. I don't blame Evans though. It was the QB situation. If you look at the ladder part of last season, Losman and Evans started to really gel.Evans went to phuk off the last 2 weeks of the season. Walker will need time coming back from the ACL. He'll also need time to get in rythm with the offense and he'll need time to get his timing with Jake. That translates into alot of TIME. I think Javon will have a decent year and will eventually be a tremendous asset for the Broncos. That said, I don't think he'll have a great FF season. |
'Preciate your words... pretty much the same thing I was thinking... if this were a keeper league I'd do the deal in a heartbeat.
I'll give you a call soon. Good hearing from you! |
What happened to the adopt a Bronco feature?
|
no way,
looking at that deal, lamont is better than laurence and lee evans adn javon walker do not make up teh difference. |
