posting an image

How on Gods green earth do you post an image? LABF does it all the time. When I try to do it all I get is a box with a red "x" in it, HELP!

There are several ways to upload a pic... the easiest is to right-click on the image you want to post and "save as..." a gif or jpg file on your pc's hard drive. Then on the "reply" page, below the text box, there is a button marked "Manage Attachments"... click that and you can "browse" your pc for the pic you want, and attach it to your post.

Or... you can register for a free webhosting service that allows hotlinking like photobucket or imageshack and upload the pic there... then link it here using the (IMG) (/IMG) tags (using [ and ] instead of ()). Or if the site that the pic is from allows hotlinking, then it will work just using the (IMG) tags with the pic's url.

OK, BlueFlame, I tried ur suggestion. So, how do I transfer the image to the reply box? I hit the 'Manage attachments" box and uploaded two pics, but I can't transfer the images to the reply box.

When you upload two pics attached to one post, then they usually show up as text links... if you want it to show as a pic, then you need to attach each pic to a separate post.

Once the pic is uploaded, then you just close the "attachment" window and the pic should be shown at the bottom of your post as a "text" (ie: "whatever.jpg") and the software already has it transferred as an attachment to the post once you hit "submit reply".

1. Go to www.imageshack.us
2. Upload your image.
3. Copy the image link (it should look like a normal URL with a picture link, .jpg, .gif, .bmp, etc.)
4. Return to www.orangemane.com
5. Find the thread or post where you want the image to be.
6. Use the image tool in the menu above (next to hyperlink and font color)
7. Paste the link into the image tool.
8. You're DONE!
