Please give a warm welcome to Ava (Rose)!!

She made her arrival on Thursday, June 8th... a day before her mother's birthday. Both wife and baby are healthy and happy. What an absolute blessing. If you've been through this, you know... if you haven't, you can't imagine. (Do it if you have the chance! :)

She came a couple of weeks early, so she's very tiny and cute. Funny, because she's so skinny... but strong as an ox! Very healthy, active little thing. She's nursing like there's no tomorrow, so she'll start packing the weight on, soon. Too small to fit in her Bronco garb, yet... but rest assured, I'll have pics.

It really IS just a blessing. I can't think of any other way to put it. Thanks for the support around here! I'll be boring you with many pics to come. :~ohyah!:

She looks like a little monkey. It's awesome. But, she also looks like her mom when she was a baby, which probably means I'm in trouble when she hits her teens.

No doubt. Now I'm just looking at her sleeping and thinking about all of the parents around here saying how fast they grow up. I imagine never a truer word has been spoken. Hope to take in every minute of it.

If it wasn't done allready save the umbilical cord. no biggie, just a safety valve.

Try to have her breastfed...I dig that on airplane flights.

It is absolutely true.....I have 3 girls, and the oldest just turned 5 in December.....it really does seem like yesterday that she was just a peanut like yours....

I'm going to take a more subtle approach. When she's not looking, I'll greet each new date with a full-on Reggie Roby kick to the scrotillia. Probably won't kill them, but will be a little reminder what they're up against.

Greatest day of my life, the day after we won SB32 too, I totally blanked out we were SB champs (finally) for like 5 hours after mine was born. Put life into perspective for sure.
