Fall in North Dakota: (unfortunately it was raining so I didn't get the sun through the trees like I wanted)

Hey Sassy, when you get up close on flowers and stuff like that, try the macro setting on your camera

I thought I did this with the closeup setting...but the flower did get a little blurry...my background is clear...mmmmmm....weird it looked ok until I ran it through photobucket.

You know, it may just be photobucket. I notice that it tends to scale down the quality of images. While the foreground is a bit blurred, I'm sure it plays into it.

I uploaded those two on imageshack and I don't notice any real loss of photo quality.

Sassy 10-04-2005 10:34 PM

Nice pics! Yeah but does imageshack auto resize? I couldn't figure that out.
I'm going to try printing it out and see what happens...it looks different here than what I'm seeing on my screen.

It seems it just has a kilobyte limit, with several options for picture linking after upload....I used a direct link to the image.

Here: http://imageshack.us/

Just hit the browse button and choose one of the links. :-*

One of my favorites...this is the bike trail behind my house. Well actually right off the bike path...and this was after a month of rain!

I proudly whooped the owner of this 660 Raptor all the way to the top of Francis Peak, starting at about 1/4 of the way up the mountain, on my 400 EX!!

I guarantee it's photobucket. It (photobucket) resizes the images and has a kilobyte limit, if I'm not mistaken. I use it for all my sigs and avatars.

Anytime I do any photo resizing in Paintshop Pro, I always sharpen the image afterwards. I'm thinking the blurring may be the result of the pic being resized.

I really like it so far and it was pretty inexpensive. What do you have?
