It was cool to have talked to you on the bus, at Giant's Stadium. You had some awesome stories of your travels here in the USA.

In 2000 I was on my FIRST US trip, which I had planned as my only US trip, and after 9 weeks I planned to do "something" different to get some attention in Denver . . . So I got my hair bleached, coloured platinum white, coloured blue and after one more treatment I had BRONCO BLUE HAIR!! So when I turned up at the training facility, as a Bronco fan, from Australia, WITH blue hair, the people there took notice and I was given the name of a guy who worked with the team! This guy (who shall remain nameless) was reasonably impressed when I told him all the games I saw on THAT tour he offered to get me on the field before the game! I've kept in contact with him, randomly, ever since, and when I turned up this year, he was more than happy to give me another tour of the Training Facility! Probably my best idea ever - they get a lot of Bronco fans at the facility, and even a few foreign Bronco fans, but an Australian with BRONCO BLUE hair . . . REALLY sticks out and is remembered by everyone!! (Think I have some photos somewhere...) |

Hey NJ, the REAL story is actually BETTER than that, but everyone here would probably think I'm full of ****! ;)
And yes that pic is "suffering" from a flash in the foreground and good illumination in the background, I COULD have fixed it, but once I start working on those holiday pics, it will take out the fun of them being HOLIDAY PICS! :D |
Great to have met you at the Giants game. I should really hamm up my British accent (it no longer exists) just to get my shot at Renee Herlocker!
