Shall I pick up Larry Johnson?
 

Alright, just got word that RB Ahman Green is out for the season now, and I still have both Edge and Stephen Jackson with bye weeks coming up, so I need another RB.

I'm thinking Larry Johnson, other options out there are Jerome Bettis, Kevan Barlow, T.J. Duckett, DeShaun Foster, and Michael Bennett.

Who should I pick up as my 3rd RB?

KC plays SD and Oak during those bye weeks and they are good run defenders.

Pittsburgh plays Baltimore and GB...although apparently R Lewis is hurt along with E Reed

SF plays TB and NYG

Foster is hurt and plays Minny and TB

Bennett is hardly seeing any time and plays Carolina and Detroit who is suprisingly good against the run.

I think you have to choose between LJ, Bettis, or Barlow. And of those three I think LJ offers the best potential reward, although Barlow is the safer bet.

I'm wondering if your in the insane league...picke up Bettis...he's a TD machine...and also Larry Johnson...what are you in, a three team league?

Nice! Not sure I would have traded LJ... I think you would have been better off trading Jackson and Heap for Gates. Smart to get Gates, but w/Holt, Bruce, and Bulger coming back I don't think Jackson is gonna get the touches.

I think it has more to do with the pass-happy Martz being gone rather than those guys coming back from injuries, SJ did just as good as LJ on sunday as neither got a TD, but Jackson got more receiving yards which Johnson has not established.
