Week 6: New England @ DENVER, Sunday Oct 16, 2:15pm

Time to take revenge on the patsies for Deltha's mess up 2 years ago, right? :D (Yes I still hold a grudge).

Who's coming? :D

CBF1 04-13-2005 08:27 PM

Okay... We are easy, Count in Broncogal and myself for the grudge match. Our second back to back home game tour for us. 4 games in 5 weeks in Denver. Does it get any better than this? I think not :)

Broncogal wants to make the Oakland game, But it is going to be real hard making it over the holidays with all the crazies at that time of year..... But you never know.

Go Broncos!

orange crusher 04-14-2005 04:13 PM

I'll definately be at this one. Hotel reservations have already been made.

Sassy 04-14-2005 04:47 PM

Where is Patswin for this game? He needs to check out OF1 !!! ;D

coachmastermind 06-23-2005 09:44 AM

The wife and I will be there for this game too!!! Can't wait to see last years champs get smacked around by this years champs!

Meck77 08-30-2005 02:35 PM

Patswin you coming out for this one?

Iron_Yuppie 09-26-2005 10:56 PM

Hey all! Long time Broncos fan, first time poster. I've never been to a game but I'm planning to go to this one. I hope to get tickets when I get there, but had a few questions before I spend a day wandering around Invesco with my head up my @ss.

Are scalpers easy to find? What do tickets usually go for? Is it possible to buy a single ticket?

Also, in case I can't find tickets I'll need a plan B. Where would be the best place to go catch the game? Are there any sports bars near Invesco?

Thanks a bunch and I'll (hopefully) see you all at the game!

Archie 09-27-2005 11:33 AM

Generally you will have no trouble finding people buying & selling tickets at the roadways into parking lots around the stadium. I've never bought them on-site but I'd expect that for this type of game (defending champs, re-match to a couple of recent last minute losses, etc..) you'll pay above face value (which is illegal in Denver but I think it happens all the time).

tailgaiting broncos patriots..

Hi Everyone,

I'm heading in from Los Angeles to see the Broncos play the Patriots this weekend. Looking to see if I can hook up with some bronco fans and tailgaiter before the game. Will gladly contribute ot food and beverages.

Also, I have 3 extra tixs to the Pats broncos game. 2 tixs are together in section 528 and 1 seat is with us in section 537. I know I could sell them on ebay, but I woud much rather give them to a diehard bronco fan like myself for face value, which I think is like 50.

email me at jrmarden@yahoo.com if interested..

You just earned your first rep points from me bro. Welcome to the Mane! Definetly come by the tailgate and we can point you in the right direction of some other great tailgate parties! This last week I had a chance to cruise around the lot and meet some other tailgaters who want to join the network of hosting out of state Broncos fans at their tailgates!

Infact there is a new Broncos bus! Some local guys built a kickass bus and will be parking it in lot C! I'll post some pics when I get a chance!

Tailgating question

I have some friends that are flying in for the Pats/ Broncos game this weekend. I was hoping to park in Lot C which opens at 8am according to the website. Does the lot fill up quickly? What is a good time to get there? The game doesn't start until 2 and I want to be able to remember some of it....which means not starting to drink at 8am!

Hopefully it doesn't rain like Sunday- thank god the Broncos pulled that win out!

Thanks for your tips in advance!

Meck77 10-10-2005 11:29 PM

It fills up real quick. If you want to park there I'd get in line before 8. There is also cash tailgating spots in lot M which is south of lot c. I wish I could tell you how many spots are available but that seems to be on a need to know basis and I don't know.

I'm in

Meck I emailed you earlier this week about stopping by the OF1. Thanks for letting a Patriots fan stop by. Whats up with the snow so early ? Should I bring my snow gear along ? We're sitting in section 128 . Isn't that the area near the endzone where they relocated the super rowdy fans from the old Mile high end zone section ? I'm really looking to it the full rocky mountain thunder experience.

Popps 10-11-2005 10:03 PM

Meck... I'll be there. First game (in Denver) for me. Can't fking wait.

Gimmie the lowdown on where you guys park and party?

I swear, I'm gunna try and make it by the OF1 this Sunday.

It all depends on how early I get up Sunday morning from boozing on Saturday night.

orange crusher 10-11-2005 10:36 PM

I'll be cruisin' in sometime Saturday, with or without my other half.

For all you out of towners coming to the game consider taking the light rail to Invesco Field. It's about $5.50 for the ride BUT you aren't far from lot C just look for the big Invesco Field sign and the Bronco horses stay left and you are there. I carried my (beer/liquor) on the rail no problem. Also runs like every 15 minutes after the game so you can enjoy some post game fun with the Maners at OF1 and catch a ride whenever you feel like leaving. Bonus: no DUI as a remberance of your experience. Checkout ESPN Zone and watch the Sunday night game.

Right here man. Southwest corner of the stadium. Lot CRV-Space #31. We will be there @ 8:00am sharp.

Drop me a pm if you want to cruise over the Sat before for our pre-tailgate rituals at the bus shop.

Look forward to meeting you. Too bad Taco wasn't in town at the same time. That would have been pretty funny. rofl

The round trip fare for the light rail on Game days is $2.50. Great deal. Just don't try to load up at 1:30 and expect to make the kickoff.

It's Colorado. The weather here can change in 10 minutes being so close to the mountains. Weather is supposed to be in the upper 60's/70's. 128 sounds like it's on the south side. That is where the party is at. I'd leave the snow gear behind but pack some wet weather gear/pancho just incase.

We could use your help around the tailgate picking up beer cans. ;)

See you in the lot.
