I have been offered a job in Denver, but this is a very difficult decision. As most of you know my son takes a little more work than the average kid. We have a great caretaker for him here, but we are a little worried about finding another one out there. We refuse to put him into a daycare because of the amount of attention that he requires, so that is not an option. He is basically a two month old in terms of his developmental capacity, so he cannot do too much for himself. He loves to be held a majority of the time; I know we have spoiled him, but what else can you do? Now mind you he is only about 15 pounds and shouldn't grow any bigger, so lugging him around is not much of a chore.
I would appreciate if any of you out in the Denver area might be able to point us in the right direction. We would love to move, but Samuel has to be our first priority. Thank you in advance.
Falconer - I am not familiar with Samuel's situation but here are 2 suggestions:
Contact Denver Childrens Hosptal ParentSmart Advice - 303-861-0123 (main number - 303-861-8888)
If you would like, send me a private message and I will give you the name and number of our pediatrician. He is great and I suspect his office would be willing to give you some advice or refer you to someone who could help.
Good Luck - Our thoughts are with you.
