Gore is gone

I would have loved to see him fully healthy next year tearing it up and being a top 10 pick but i wish him the best. He has so much heart and he is such a great kid. We will never forget you Frank. Come now, don the Orange and Blue. :Broncos: Lets steal this kid in the mid rounds. When he is fully healthy, he is a top 10 talent. You heard it here first.

Northman 12-28-2004 02:43 PM

i know he has battled injuries but ive alway felt that he was a bit overrated to begin with. but, being from Miami im sure he will draw someone's interest.

SoCalBronco 12-28-2004 02:45 PM

I believe he will go from th e 3rd to the 5th. We will likely get a 4th in Herc's opinion as compensation for Berry in the FA compensation system. If he is there, go for it.

I wonder how he would be at Fullback? he is a big dude. ???

If we take Gore, theres no room for your gay fetish, I mean Maurice Clarett, on this team.

In 2001, Gore's true freshman year and only truly healthy season at Miami, Frank was downright scary running the ball. That team had Clinton Portis, Willis McGahee and Najeh Davenport, who each have run for over 130 yards in a game this season in the NFL, and Frank Gore made those guys look like Division III prospects when he came into the game and got some carries.

The 2001 Miami team might have been the most talented of all-time, and the one thing I'll remember was how special Frank Gore was running the ball. It was similar to the way Adrian Peterson impressed everybody this year, though Gore is smaller but probably hits the hole faster.

Frank obviously needs to slim down; he's gotten a little too heavy and lost some speed in the past two seasons. He looks fat out there, along with Tyrone Moss, who I'm really down on right now.

Frank's family is in desperate need for money. His mom has some serious health issues and Frank is the man of the family and needs to take care of everyone. Even as a third or fifth round pick he'll make enough money on his first contract to help out his family a ton.

Totally agree with everything you said. It is best for Frank to do this although i think he would have been super next year. Esp. if he ran track in the spring like the coaches wanted. Gore would be a steal in the mid rounds, folks. Breck speaks the truth. This kid has BETTER VISION than Clinton Portis with more power. All he is lacking is the Burst which was there in 2001 before the injury. By next season it should be back and at worst the season after that. IM TELLING YOU FOLKS TAKE HIM IN THE MID ROUNDS AND WE WONT BE DISAPPOINTED IN THE LONG TERM. If Tyrone Moss had a tenth of the heart or work ethic of Frank Gore he would be an All-American. Instead he is just a Fat Lazy Slob.

Has Gore ever served time in prison? I hear most of the Hurricanes have criminal records.

:)

No Slappy, Frank is the type of Hurricane that even you would like and respect. The only adversities he has faced arent legal, but rather his learning disability and the back to back ACL tears and taking care of his Mom. When he gets his burst back he will be awesome. He looked good this year, especially towards the end of the year so he is starting to come on again.

DB-Freak 12-28-2004 09:49 PM

Well with the type of injury that Bell has it wont hurt to have a back or two in the stable just in case.

WHo is this Tyrone Moss character? Another great talent who is a slob?

Remember that one day we were in the chatroom Freek watching the Miami vs. Houston game, Moss was that big heftier back, "Thunderthighs". That's the guy. He is a good power back, but doesnt have a speed burst and his work ethic could be better. That kid better get his ass in gear or else he wont start next year. Derron Thomas will easily pass him and Jones may as well.

Want a better RB in the mid-rounds?

Cedric Houston :)

When I saw him running as a Freshman in spot duty for Portis at the time I believe I said he is the best combination of speed, power and quickness I have seen since Bo Jackson....And I truly believed it. Unfortunately he is a fragment of the player he was then after the multiple knee injuries. I hope he can make it back. Seems to be a high quality kid who has been dealt a lot of rotten cards in his life. I will pull for this kid big time...Even if he ends up a Raider I will still pull for him to have tremendous success and that is saying a ton.

The Vols could slide several quality NFL backs out there. Houston, Riggs and J.Davis could all be very solid NFL backs.

DivineLegion 12-29-2004 09:16 AM

If we wont a back with good burst and TD like qualitys we could fix TA Maclendons fumble problems and he would be a decent back...the only problem is he has a tendency to strain his vagina...other then that he would be a great fit!

A fumbler that is injury prone? Hmmm, sounds like a perfect fit in Denver. ;D

I like Cedric the most out of the Vols back, but Riggs isnt too far behind him. Houston has the power running game that Riggs doesnt have, but seems like Riggs has that extra half step on him that gets him through holrd quicker.

Well, this is part of the problem. i really didnt start paying much attention to Miami until i saw Portis so i never knew the other side of Gore. im just observing what i have seen the last couple of years. ???

Good stuff SoCal. I agree 100%. If Tatum stays healthy he would never see the field but that won't happen so Gore would get a chance to show his stuff. Gore could easily turn into a Curtis Martin type of story. Lord knows he deserves it.
