I figure no matter what, people are going to hate this one... So I'll just enjoy it for what it's worth... A kids show with some great special effects.

I've liked both "prequals" so far. Mostly 'cause I've taken them for what they are, not what I wanted/hoped they would be.

I get the complaint about Jar Jar... But as for the rest of it, the Star Whiners come off like a bunch of spoiled babies to me, crying about their childhood being taken from them. I loved the original series, but they were kids shows that appealed to kids and geeks. Kids are easy to please. There is NO pleasing geeks.

I'll enjoy this one, like I've enjoyed them all...


But I'd love to see Jar Jar get 'sabed...

Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, Ewoks attorney would certainly want you to believe that his client Deserved to be in Star wars . And they make a good case. Hell, I almost felt pity myself!
But ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider: Ladies and gentlemen this [pointing to a picture of Chewbacca] is Chewbacca. Chewbacca is a Wookiee from the planet Kashyyyk, but Chewbacca lives on the planet Endor. Now, think about that. That does not make sense! Why would a Wookiee—an eight foot tall Wookiee—want to live on Endor with a bunch of two foot tall Ewoks? That does not make sense!
But more important, you have to ask yourself, what does this have to do with this case? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this case! It does not make sense!
Look at me, I'm a lawyer defending a Bunch of stuffed Animals , and I'm talkin' about Chewbacca. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense!
And so you have to remember, when you're in that jury room deliberating and conjugating the Emancipation Proclamation... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense.
If Chewbacca lives on Endor, you must acquit! The defense rests.

Heard that the few non-Lucas people who have seen the rough cuts rate only Empire higher. Might get a PG-13 rating too b/c of Palpatine.

Looking forward to seeing it when it comes out next May.

ive liked the last two, but of course they dont compare at all to the first three.
the question to me, is how will they end it?

we know anikan crybaby (sorry, but the character is WAY to whiney) becomed vader, but where's the closure?
it seems it would be a crappy ending.

anyway, im hoping for the best, but im just not sure what to expect from this movie.

Anyone know where I can get an AVI or MPEG version. I am NOT installing that ****ing apple .mov viewer again. ****ing thing took over playback of every media format and tore up my system!

I agree to a point about Jar Jar. I never thought he was all that bad. There was just waaaaaaaay too much of him. A little comic relief is nice. Every frickin' scene is overboard!

Can't really have closure when it's only part 3 of 6.

I can't wait to see Sam Jackson's death and the rumored Yoda v. Palps lightsaber duel.

I did. I unchecked everything except .mov. It took over and was impossible to un-install. They may have improved it, but I ain't takin' that chance again.
